Nancy Wilson is a Grammy Award winning jazz singer. Nancy Wilson was born on 20th February 1937 in Chillicothe OH to Olden Wilson who worked in an ironworks, and Lillian Ryan, a former domestic worker. Nancy was the youngest of six kids. Nancy was inspired by her father's taste in music and records played in the house. At the age of four, Nancy knew that she would like to become a musician. She visited The Big Town, New York in 1959. The agent of Adderley heard about her at The Blue Morocco Night Club, Boston Road, The Bronx and she then signed her contract.
