Jazz singer Nancy Wilson a three-time Grammy Award-winner was born on February 20, 1937, in Chillicothe Ohio to iron-worker Olden Wilson and the former Lillian Ryan who worked as a domestic servant. Nancy Wilson was the only baby of six. Her father's love of music as well as the music he played at home were a huge influence on Nancy as a young girl. She already knew she would become a performer by the time she was four years old and developed her skills by performing in the church choir. When she was 15, she won an audition on television and began appearing on The Skyline Melodies Tv Show while still in High School. In the year she turned 15, Nancy began her professional career at nightclubs. After graduating from high school at the age of 17, Nancy matriculated for one semester at the Ohio's Central State College now Central State University prior to going on to become professional as a musician. The first album she recorded was in 1956 by the Rusty Bryant's Carolyn Club Big Band. They toured with her from 1956-1958. Nancy began recording for Dot Records in 1956, as part of the group. Cannonball Aderley suggested that she relocate to New York so as to increase her chances of success. In 1959 she moved into The Big Town. She was commissioned to sing at The Blue Morocco Night Club in The Bronx and there was a place where Adderley's agent had seen her. He signed a contract signing her with Capitol records in 1960, and she made her debut that year by releasing the single. Guess who I saw today? Capitol issued five Nancy Wilson records in just two years. She began by focusing on R&B, but under Adderley's influence, she began to embrace jazz. Nancy Wilson and Cannonball Adderley formed a band in 1962. This led to her rise up the charts. The year 1963 was when she achieved her greatest success through Tell Me the Truth. Following that year, she was invited to perform in New York's Coconut Grove, the most famous club in America.
Maisie Richardson-Sellers is an British television and film actress. Her most well-known role is the lead role of Chloe Winthrop in Netflix film The Kissing Booth. In addition, she played a principal role in The ABC Biblical series Of Kings and Prophets as King Saul of Israel's daughter Michal.
