Jazz musician Nancy Wilson a three-time Grammy Award winner was born the 20th of February 1937 in Ohio, Chillicothe. She was the daughter of iron worker Olden Wilson, and former Lillian Ryan who worked as a housekeeper. Nancy was the sixth of seven kids. Nancy's father was an avid music lover and played records at home. This had a great influence on her as a child. By the age of four, Nancy was aware that she wanted to be an artist. She began to develop her talent by participating in choirs of the church. When she was 15 and had a chance to win a talent show on TV and started appearing regularly in The Skyline Melodies Tv Show while being in High School. That same year, Nancy began to perform in nightclubs. Nancy quit Central State University in Ohio after she matriculated for an entire year. In 1956, she recorded her debut album as part of Rusty's Carolyn Club Big Band with who she performed on tour between 1956 and 1958. Nancy started recording with Dot Records in 1956, as part of the group. Cannonball addederley suggested she move in New York for her career after which she moved to The Big Town. Her agent heard her speak at The Blue Morocco Night Club, Boston Road, The Bronx and she signed. Within a month after her arrival to New York, she was in the city. He obtained a contract for signing her with Capitol records in 1960, and she debuted that year, with a single. Guess who I saw in the present. Maisie began her acting career in 2012 with the short Our First World. Her appearance was in a shorter feature film Americano and Rum as Ellie in 2013. The actress was featured in a cameo role of Korr Sella on the film Short Wars: The Force Awakens in 2015. In the Netflix Original Film The Kissing Booth Season 2 or 3, she played Chloe Winthrop.
