Emeraude Toubia

Emeraude Tubia (Canadian actor) is known for playing in Freeform's fantasy series Shadowhunters as well Venevision Telenovelas Cosita linda and Voltea ap que te enamores. She is also a successful model and dancer. Montreal was her birthplace, and she spent her childhood in Texas. She has been training in different dance styles from the time she was a child. Her first participation in beauty contests when she was the age of fifteen. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia was a hit for her participation in Nuestra Belleza Latina, the Univision pageant show. In 2010, she began her acting career as a receptionist in an episode of Telemundo's telenovela Aurora. Toubia was a part of Tattooed Love (2015), an action film. Toubia's performance as Shadowhunter was praised by the Teen Choice Awards in both 2018 and 2017 for the Best TV Actress Fantasy/Sci-Fi.
