Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy Suresh (born 17 October 1992) is an Indian actress, who is primarily in Tamil and Telugu film, as well as to a few Malayalam films. She received the National Film Award's Best Actress award for portraying Savitri the actress in the Telugu Film Mahanati (2018). Other awards she has won include the three SIIMA Awards, a Filmfare Award South as well as three SIIMA Awards. Keerthy Kumar's parents include filmmaker G. Suresh Kumar & actor Menaka G. Suresh. In the early 2000s, she was a teen actor. After studying fashion design, she went back to the world of film. She starred in her debut major role in Geethaanjali (2013) which was which was a Malayalam movie. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). In the year 2015, Keerthy accepted her first projects outside of Malayalam and was signed to appear in several Tamil films simultaneously. The director it was A. L. Vijay, and Vikram and Vikram, who premiered Idhu Enna Maayam in 2015. It didn't go much, but it did release. It was necessary to withdraw of several films she was already making in 2015 like Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye as well as Deekay's Kavalai Vedam to make room for more ambitious projects. The actress was in two films that came out in quick succession, alongside Sivakarthikeyan, Rajini Murugan & Remo. Dhanush was also the leading actor for Prabhu's Thodari. The film has been delayed since 2015 and reports suggest it will be released after September, 2020 under the new name Janakitho Nenu. In 2016, Nenu Sailaja with Ram Pothineni, was her debut.
